V-Ray for SketchUp on Mac OSX Announced

VRay for SketchUp is scheduled to be released for MAC OSX. MAC users around the world will soon be able to run VRay for SketchUp in their native OS instead of having to emulate a Windows environment. ASGvis announced the planned release for April 2009. ASGvis teamed up with the original makers of Vray “Chaos Group” to develop plugins for SketchUp and Rhino.

VRay was available on the Mac before though for quite a while as a version supporting Maxon Cinema 4D. VRAYforC4D is developed by a small but efficient team of dedicated CINEMA 4D users and developers, lead by Stefan Laub, of LAUBlab, who urgently wanted Vray to come to C4D. The project started in February of 2006.
