Comparison of Massing Tools in Revit 2009 to Revit 2010

While the Massing Tools in Revit 2010 do allow users to create compelling, morphic forms – the user’s expectation to be able to further iterate and potentially rationalize the initial, intuitive design decisions has been lost. There is simply no option to “Edit” the resulting extrusion, blend, sweep, etc. at the elemental level without starting over. And having to start over is an untenable option in the design process.

I am sure you have done so more exporing lately, and while I agree that the new Massing features in Revit 2010 are much different, much of what you said in regard to having to start over and not be able to keep the shapes isn’t accurate.
Much can be done with these tools that you really didn’t show or touch on.
I appreciate your continued committment to posting information online about the subject though. I think it would be good to have a follow up video showing some of these features I am discussing.
